Stunning rural property in the Alentejo region of Portugal comprising a typical ground-level farmhouse set on 6 hectares of land.The ground-level house boasts a kitchen with a regional fireplace, three double bedrooms, a living-room, a bathroom, and a large outbuilding with a shower room (with a toilet, sink and shower).

Two of the double bedrooms are located on either side of the corridor which links the main entrance to the kitchen. The one on the left has a large wardrobe and the one on the right has a large chest of drawers. There are double beds in both rooms with bedside tables and lamps.

The whole property is tiled with traditional Sta. Catarina’s handmade tiles from the Algarve. The single-glazed windows and wooden shutters are made of exotic hardwood.The property is sold fully furnished.

The farmland is fertile and water for irrigation is supplied by the Roxo dam through water outlets situated on the boundary of the plot.

The property has a septic tank and a borehole which supplies water to the house.
At the moment electricity is supplied by a generator but due to its sunny position, this property would be ideal for off-grid living: photovoltaic solar panels could be installed to generate electricity all year round.

In front of the house there is a mature fig tree which provides shade and where a pleasant barbecue area for eating al fresco could be created.

The land has about 10 olive trees and a quince tree. In the past, rice, sunflower, corn and rye were grown in the fields. Farm animals such as the typical black pig of the Alentejo, chickens and sheep roamed around the farm freely.

Ferreira do Alentejo is situated only 25 km away and has several public swimming pools. The seaside and the nearest beach (Vila Nova de Mil Fontes) are 50 km away. There are dams and lakes nearby like, for instance, Ervidel.
